Hola from Colombia!!
Well...we have finally arrived!! Six suitcases, 2 carry-ons, a stroller and 2300 miles later, we are at home in Colombia! There was bad weather in Atlanta yesterday so we left later than scheduled, causing us not to arrive at the hotel until almost midnight. Our driver spoke no functional English and we don't really speak Spanish...even though we try!...so we had a very quiet drive. We have spent most of the morning exploring our hotel and getting unpacked and settled in our room. We met 2 other couples this morning at breakfast. One couple just adopted an adorable almost 4 year old little boy and the other family didn't seem to have any kids with them. We have also heard an infant crying, so we won't have to worry about being the only room with an upset baby!! Our plans today are to find a store to get a few supplies we couldn't fit in the suitcase and go out to dinner...our last dinner as a family of 2! All of our meals are included in our hotel and we will mostly eat here, but occassionaly we are going to need American food! And the big news............we will be picked up tomorrow at 11:00 to go and get Laura!! We will post pictures as soon as we get a chance but most of tomorrow will be spent with us and Laura...not killing time online:) Here a few pictures of our luggage and our room:

Craig and I are THRILLED for you guys!!!!! We can't wait to see a picture of you holding her. I have had a picture of Laura Claire on my desk at work for a month or more and everyone says what a beautiful baby. I try to claim her and blame homozygous recessives, but no one's quite buying my story. Your room looks like it's comfortable and clean and that's what counts. There's a bed, no rain, cold, or bugs, and an indoor toilet. Life's Good! Love to you both from Craig and I. Can't wait to hold our great niece ourselves! Heidi

Mason and I are so excited for you! I hope that your first meeting with Laura is wonderful, as I'm sure it will be. Thanks for the updates. Enjoy the first day with your daughter! I know it has been long awaited. Can't wait to meet her.
