Time with MeMa

Shawn's mom (MeMa) came to visit us a few weeks ago and we all had a great time. Shawn, Laura and I went to pick MeMa up at the airport. When we got to the car and were deciding where everyone would sit, Laura said "You sit heah (here), MeMa!" as she pointed to the seat right next to her car seat. That was MeMa's seat for the whole week and Laura wouldn't have it any other way!

We also spent a few days at the lake. Laura and MeMa had a great time floating around at the beach area.

Shawn, Laura, and MeMa went to the Children's Museum one day while I was at work. They had a great time and Laura loved showing MeMa around all her favorite exhibits at the museum. After a fun lunch at McDonalds, Laura fell asleep before they left the parking lot:)

While MeMa was visiting, Laura only wanted her to read books and sing. Anytime Shawn and I would start singing one of her favorite songs, she would say, "Sop it Mommy Daddy! MeMa doit!"

A lot of time was spent watching Laura play outside. And yes...Laura is wearing a winter hat. She recently found it in her closet and she has decided that it should be a part of every outfit she wears. Again, Laura was the most happy if "MeMa doit!" when it came to being pushed on the swings, helped up the ladder, or helped down the slide.

We are so glad that MeMa was able to come. Laura loved having her around...it is much more fun than talking on Skype!! Come back soon, MeMa!!
