Laura started her new year of preschool in mid-September (wow...I'm behind in my blogging!). She has been at this school all summer for 1 day a week and now is attending 2 days a week. She absolutely loves it! Her new teacher came to the house a few weeks before school to visit with us and meet with Laura. Usually Laura is slow to warm up to new people, but within 5 minutes, Laura was enamored with Mrs. Bruch. On school mornings, Laura loves to put on her backpack (or packpack as she calls it), grab her lunchbox and walk out to the car. She looks like such a big girl! And she is already learning so much. Just the other day she was playing out in the yard with Nana and she found some acorns. She brought them to Nana, said "these acowns, Nana". My mom agreed and then Laura said "they grow into a FREE!! (tree)." With that, Nana was very impressed but the talking continued. Laura then informed Nana, "free from Dod (tree comes from God)." Needless to say, we are very impressed with what she is picking up at school:) We can't believe how big she is getting, but we are enjoying every new phase so much!
Check back soon for pictures from Laura's recent trip to Missouri to visit her Bob, Gigi, and Auntie.
