No, we aren't in St. Louis...we are at quite possibly the biggest craft extravaganza we have ever seen!! We went to the XVIII Expoartesanias today - a local showcase of Colombian arts and crafts. They have it every year in December and it was quite a sight to behold. We walked through 7 large warehouses filled with booths and kiosks. We started out by just looking and making a list of everything we thought we might be interested in. After visiting every vendor, we went backwards through the buildings picking up our treasures. We were able to find seven of Laura's 18 gifts as well as some other doo-dads to bring home to share. It was quite an experience and I'm so glad we were able to go. Once we got home, Laura took a long nap, woke up on the wrong side of the crib, and has been really fussy ever since. We think she might be getting the other front tooth on the bottom, as she is acting much like she did last week when the first tooth broke through. She has finally fallen alseep again...hopefully for the night! We'll have more pictures tomorrow. Have a great evening!

I'm so glad that y'all have other English-speaking families to do things with! What a blessing that must be! :D
So I was catching up on my blog reading today...got a question...why did y'all chose 18 presents? Are you planning to give her one every year until her 18th Christmas? If so, what a great idea! Where did the idea come from?
Well, I miss y'all! I can't wait to meet little Laura!
Love,
Marie
Hey Shawn, Stephanie and little Laura! Sorry it's taken me so long to catch up. I am sitting here crying my eyeballs out because I'm so excited for you guys. What a cute, sweet adorable family you have!!!! I wish and pray for the judges to hurry it up and get you back to the US so the family and friends can surround you and love on that sweet girl!!!!! I'm so excited for both of you guys. You're so special. I can't wait to meet her one day myself. Looks like TJ and I might just have to make a trip to DC! : ) Praying for a speedy return home and safe travels while you're there. Feliz Navidad (Shawnito, that's about the only thing I remember from Spanish class, that and those awful tapes: repeat after me: vivar, vivamos, viven, vivixen.... ) hahahah Love you guys and blessings, prayers and love, Mo and Teejamos Bean
